Production
Sulfur is recovered from our hydrotreating units using the Claus process. We produce high-purity (99.9%) granulated sulfur, which is safer to transport and handle than molten sulfur.
Markets
Our sulfur is primarily exported to fertilizer manufacturers in China and North Africa, where it is used to produce sulfuric acid and phosphate fertilizers.
